The National Conference of Artists and New Orleans Martin Luther King Jr. Exhibition Council are planning the 27th Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Art Exhibit. The exhibition will showcase work by artists from across the United States at the Ashé Cultural Arts Center and THE BUILDING Gallery in New Orleans. The National Conference of Artists, New Orleans Chapter is a major supporter of the activities. The exhibition opens January 13th and closes on February 29, 2024. This year’s exhibit will showcase artists’ interpretations of the theme: An Experience in Love. The theme, “An Experience in Love,” comes from 1958 essays about the 6 pillars of nonviolence and the Greek notion of agape. We are designing a full color exhibit catalog to document the artists and participants involved in this historic exhibition.
